Class 2 laser device with red beam. Laser diode 630-650 nm, <1 mW.
The Bosch GRL 600 CHV level can operate on standard 1.5 V LR6 (AA) batteries or a Li-Ion 18V battery (both included).
First of all, after switching on, the level determines its position – vertical or horizontal. At the same time, it self-levels ±8.5% (±5°).
The leveled device continuously checks its position. Each time it is moved to a different position, it automatically self-levels.

Installing the level

The device can be placed horizontally and vertically. The main thing is to have a solid support. Two 5/8″ threaded sockets specifically for mounting the level on a tripod or wall mount.

The high leveling accuracy requires the device to be sensitive to the slightest vibrations and movements. It is very important to ensure that it is in a stable position to avoid interruptions for additional leveling.

Controlling the level

The main functions are controlled using the buttons on the level and the remote control.
For remote control of the construction laser via Bluetooth at a distance of up to 100 m, there is an RC 6 remote control. It operates on two 1.5 V LR6 (AA) batteries. Operating frequency range 2402-2480 MHz. Maximum transmission power 6.3 mW.
The measuring tool is equipped with a Bluetooth® module, which, using radio technology, provides the possibility of remote control via a smartphone with a Bluetooth® interface. To use this function, you need the Bosch Levelling Remote App.
The keyboard of the device and the remote control can be locked if necessary using the Bosch Levelling Remote App.

Operating modes

Rotation mode with the ability to set different rotation speeds. Recommended for use with a laser receiver.
In linear mode, the variable laser beam moves at a specified angle to the workpiece. This makes the beam more visible than in rotary mode. The angle can be set to different values.
Dot mode is necessary for transferring horizontals or for controlling vanishing lines. At the same time, it provides the clearest visibility of the beam.
Linear and dot modes are not compatible with the laser receiver.
All modes work in both vertical and horizontal positions of the GRL 600 CHV level.
During a pause in operation, the level can be switched to standby mode, in which all settings are saved.
