Comparison of Wandeli, Shijing, GTM (Caowang), Bihui tile cutters
When there is a question of choosing an electric tile cutter with a 115-125 mm disk, the choice of a brand arises: Wandeli, Shijing, GTM (Caowang), Bihui. Wandeli was the first to appear on the market and, accordingly, is more widely known. But powerful competitors appeared and therefore I decided to make a comparison between Wandeli QX-ZD-1200 (QXZ-ZD-1200), Shijing 9033, GTM ST 1201A (ST1801A (Caowang)), Bihui tile cutters. Why these tile cutters, and because these are the tile cutters that I recommend to tilers to use:

1. One of the main factors is the price (approximate!!!):
– the cheapest GTM ST1201A (Caowang), 1200 mm, about UAH 45,000;
– GTM ST1801A (Caowang) – 1800 mm, about UAH 55,000;
– Shijing 9033, 1200 mm, about UAH 60,000
– Bihui, 1200 mm, about UAH 60,000
– Wandeli QX-ZD-1200, 1200 mm about UAH 75,000
– Wandeli QXZ-ZD-1200, 1200 mm about UAH 95,000
2. Let’s start with the main engine. Engine power is as follows:
– GTM ST1201A ST1801A (Caowang) – 1750 W;
– Shijing 9033 2200 W;
– Bihui 2200 W;
– Wandeli QXZ-ZD-1200 – 1550 W
Therefore, the power of the Shijing, Bihui engines provides a slot in almost any material with full immersion of the disc. The power of the Wandeli, GTM engine is enough to cut traditional tiles in one pass. But, if granite or something thicker falls 2
cm, then you have to pass the tile twice! You can also cut in two times, but this method significantly reduces the resource of the disks.
3. Transmission from the motor to the disc: Shijing 9033 has a belt transmission. Therefore, vibrations are less transmitted from the engine to the disk. Wandeli, GTM, Bihui have gear reducers! Belts are freely sold and can be changed on the spot yourself, it’s not that difficult. But it is more difficult to change the gearbox. In addition, this work must be performed by a qualified person, a service is needed.
4. Durability of tile cutters. Shijing 9033, GTM, Bihui have clapper legs and stand quite firmly and do not move. In addition, they have side stops that are fixed to the floor and add stability. Vandels themselves are unstable, they wobble, believe me, like jelly. In addition, the side stops rest not on the floor, but on the body, so they do not add stability to the tile cutter itself. When you put the Wandeli on its side for a 45 cut, it can easily fall over! Elementary falls!!! Therefore, be careful with Wandeli so that he does not fall and crash.
5. The automation of the carriage movement is very different in tile cutters.
Shijing 9033 – super simple, it is completely closed, airtight! Protected from moisture. There is only one lever here – a resistor. If you twisted it to a minimum, you can work in manual mode. If you turn it in +, then the more you turn, the faster the carriage moves. Everything is simple – genius! The simple solution requires no cooling, no ventilation. A simple and reliable solution.

Wandeli is a complex control unit. The control of the pump, illumination (in reinforced), laser has been carried out. Reduces speed at the end.
there are as many as two coolers in the control unit! They cool the chip, cool the power supply. I don’t know what else they cool, but you have to understand: if there is a cooler, it sucks in air from somewhere and emits air somewhere. If he takes
the air is dirty, with splashes, with moisture, with dust, therefore, of course, the microcircuit inside is not working correctly. It is necessary to ensure the cleanliness of the air in Wandel.

6. Discs of 115 – 120 – 125 mm are installed in all tile cutters, just like Shijing and Wandel. And for convex chamfers and micro-chamfers, special cutters are installed in tile cutters. Due to the small casing, it is necessary to install either finished or special cutters in Wandeli. In the rest of the tile cutters, standard products are installed.
7. Organization of disk cooling. Disc cooling schemes used in tile cutters are basically the same. But I will pay attention to the final stage, to the organization of water supply to the disk. In Shijinga, these are plastic antennae that perfectly cool the disc and do not need any modifications. GTM and BIHUI have aluminum adjustable tubes that can be replaced with longer ones or sharpened with plastic tubes. In Vandela, the nozzles are at some distance from the disk and, in my opinion, are organized the worst. Cooling the disc is generally very necessary and critical for a high-quality cut.
8. Shijing 9033 and Bihui have green lasers, they are bright and clearly visible on the tile. The lasers in Wandel and ZhTM (Kaowang) are red with lower brightness.
