Diamond drill bits are used to create openings of different diameters, ranging from 32 mm to 500 mm in different materials. Openings with a diameter of up to 100 mm (in concrete) and up to 160 mm in concrete, foam concrete, and soft materials can be formed by hand. Larger diameters are recommended to be drilled using special stands. Work on soft materials can be dry-coated with sawdust. However, you need to make sure that the service life of the crowns is significantly reduced. Therefore, it is recommended to cool the crowns with water. Cooling cream, with a highly regulated water supply, achieves the effect that the drilling is exposed to abrasive particles (between the crown and the material), which significantly reduces the service life of the crowns.
